I woke up one morning and the thought struck me, "Why not have a community based radio station." Thanet Community Radio was birthed from there. Quite exciting at 78 years old to find yourself doing something so positive. The aim is to have the radio up and running.
The Vision is long term and will develop as we travel this road. together. One thing is for sure it's all about the Community and what can be gained for them and by them.

After many years majoring in the Sales & Marketing field, dealing directly with the public, Radio offers a similar challenge. My husband Geoff is a key focal point and a major pivot in all of this. He was a joiner/carpenter/shopfiter, until his retirement a few years ago. His precision makes him a key, focal point in all his support of, me, the Radio, and anything else he can lay his hands to do. Together we look forward to serving the Community of Thanet, spreading across Kent, even the Nations. Thanet will be carried across the globe! Watch this space! Local businesses will be able to advertise with us at reasonable rates.

This Radio Station is a voluntary venture so any donation, large or small, will be gratefully received to help with the running costs and Air Time. KEEP LISTENING!!! just an overview.
